The first Adidas Runners club is launching in the capital, and to mark the occasion, the crew’s captain, Lee Ryan, is tackling a rare challenge. Ryan, who has run 29 marathons and 56 half-marathons in his career, will make his way from Dubai to Abu Dhabi in a journey estimated to take about 12 hours. The 98-kilometer run will start at 6pm today (Thursday, March 21), when Ryan will leave Dubai, and wrap up Friday morning at Abu Dhabi Corniche family park. He is scheduled to arrive around 6am, with runners in the Adidas community joining him for the last 10 kilometers.
