Ripe Market in Abu Dhabi
After a long hot summer Ripe Market is at Abu Dhabi’s Umm Al Emarat Park. The fun day out offers performances, shopping for everything from jewelry to local crafts, organic vegetables and treats, a petting zoo, yoga and more. From 3pm-9pm. Paddle in Pink in Abu Dhabi
The local ladies’ dragonboat team, Abu Dhabi Jets, sponsored by NMC Royal, is hosting Paddle in Pink on Monday, October 15 at the Eastern Mangroves Promenade directly in front of the restaurant, Carluccio’s. The free event starts with a personal trainer-led warmup at 8.30am, paddling in the water from 9am-10.30am, followed by a small memorial honoring those who have fought breast cancer. Pelvic floor workshop in Dubai
The Osteopathic Health Center in Dubai is offering a free workshop on Saturday, October 20, from 10am-11.30am. F45 is a new gym at Zayed Sports City’s stadium. It offers functional HIIT group training sessions that are just 45 minutes long (that is a full 15 minutes shorter than CrossFit). Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Dubai
The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale lands at Dubai Studio City, Sound Stage Venue at 9am on Thursday, October 18, and does not close doors until it ends on Sunday, October 28, at 11.59pm. This marathon book event, organized by Ink Readable Books in partnership with the Mohammed bin Rashid Foundation, National Media Council and Dubai Production City, arrives with a stock of three million English-language books in all genres for sale at 50 percent to 80 percent off retail prices.
